As we have learned over the years, it is important to honor our public safety family with honor,

dignity, and consistency. We have also learned that we only get one chance to do it. That is

what we will do in 2024. Be with us for classroom and hands on as we “Put it all Together.”

Join us at our Saturday night banquet as we honor those public safety individuals that we have

honored in 2023. Our guest speaker is known all over America as he shares his story of hope

and promise. Dr. Barry Young is Chaplain with the Independence Police Department and is the

CEO of Serving Heros based right here in Missouri. Sunday morning Dr Young will return to

provide a program for us that you will not want to miss. Mark your calendar for October 11-13

as we “Put it all Together.”

Includes Saturday and Sunday Breakfast, Saturday Lunch, Saturday evening Banquet,

training, refreshments and more. Program runs Saturday 8-4, Banquet 6pm. Sunday 8-

12noon. Also this weekend-Golf tournament Friday morning. Trivia night 7pm Friday night.

6PM Set up for silent auction-trivia night (DOWNSTAIRS) Proceeds from silent auction go to Supporting Heroes

6PM-7PM Check in for conference and Trivia event (DOWNSTAIRS)

7PM-9PM-Trivia event-2-4 member teams $10 per person cash 75% payout 1 st place 25% 2nd place

9PM-10PM Commander’s and support team meeting-Grand Glaize Room-downstairs

SATURDAY OCTOBER 12

7AM-8AM- Breakfast (Provided) checking in for conference if not done so Friday evening (downstairs)

8AM-Welcome & housekeeping -- Grand Glaize room (Downstairs)

8:15-9:50 Updates and PSOB-Supporting Heroes

9:50-10:00 Break

10:00-11:30 Putting it all together-At this time a scenario will be given, and attendees will get into groups. A venue, cemetery,

and other information will be provided. Teams will prepare tabletops for a visitation, funeral, procession, and cemetery

procedures.

11:30-12:15 Lunch (provided) Downstairs

12:15- 12:30 Prepare for visitation- Grand Glaize room / Lakeside auditorium (downstairs)

12:30-2:30 Visitation/ funeral-Posting of colors-Changing of casket guard will proceed in ___ minute intervals.

2:30-2:45 Casket will be moved to caisson -brought back in for cemetery procedures.

2:45-3:15 Cemetery event-Folding of the flag and presentation.

3:15-3:30 Review, closing remarks, and questions.

3:30 Annual fundraiser raffle drawing

3:45-5:15 Annual meetings , EMS, Fire, Law -- Grand Glaize Room

5:30 Seating for the 2024 Annual Banquet-Harbor Ball room-Cash bar

6:00 PM Banquet Keynote speaker Dr. Barry young, Independence Police Chaplain CEO Serving Heroes-Silent auction ends

9:45-11:45 Dr Young Continues 11:45-12 noon; Closing remarks and closing out the 2024 Annual funeral team conference.
